Exclusive Interview: Elizabeth Burke
Saturday, October 7, 2005
Liz Burke, or Elizabeth, as she prefers to be called now, recently had the chance to respond to an interview from her job at the Muscular Dystrophy Association in Edina, MN. Liz and I have been friends since 2002, and converse on a very regular basis even today. Let's see what this little lady is up to these days!

Hi Liz, how are you today? |
Have you and Nick resolved your
differences involving the cell phone prank, even though it was all my
fault? i am not sure. i apologized but never heard back. he is either over it, or giving me the silent treatment. What is your favorite Colin Mangold memory? when he bought brass knuckles and a huge golf driver in omaha and was threatening luke with them all weekend. Would you say that you are currently meeting many new people and making more new friends, or losing touch with old friends? probably a little of both. i try hard to stay in touch with old friends, but i have definitely outgrown some people. Are you still interested in taking in Valleyfair before the season ends? We can still see Jeff dressed as an evil clown! i am in. how about next weekend? What has been the most exciting year of your life so far? you know i dont remember years like you do! i remember them more in terms of school years, not so much in calendar years. I am sure my august 05 - august 06 was the most exciting living in detroit and working in the inner city. never a dull moment. Does it seem like 2006 has gone by really fast? not especially. i feel like it has gone about as fast as 2005. Tell us about your new project of "simplifying your life," which included giving me many of your CDs. i am so glad you asked me about this question. upon moving into my home, i realized that i have too much clutter in my life. a simpler life makes for a clearer mind. Therefore, i went through all of my stuff and tried to keep only things that had a place and a purpose. i found some cds that i hadnt listened to in years. i hope you are enjoying them. i am much happier without the clutter. my house is pretty much immaculate since everything has a place. its a really great feeling. i am still simplifying so stay tuned for more CDs. I also gave away a bunch of VHS's. let me know if you are interested. Do you think we'll ever finish filming "912 North Egan?" probably. maybe next summer. i need to read up on my lines. Which of your friends would be most likely to fall for a pyramid scheme besides Luke? probably me since i fell for the door-to-door coupon sales. that was definitely my worst work experience. and i wasnt even getting paid! Tell one of your MDA co-workers I say hi and tell me their response. i said hi to todd. he smiled. then he asked about glanzeraid '06. Do you ever worry about any of our friends' alcohol consumption? definitely. and i am serious. Name three people you should get in touch with sometime soon. Liz Bose from highschool, the staff at crossroads in michigan, my parole officer What are your plans for the weekend? Do they involve getting FSFA'd? i am off to st louis to visit three of my best friends! we are going to octoberfest and alison's husband is our sober cab. we are getting back to her house in time for the playoff games. so i think that getting FSFAed is definitely in the plans. Thanks for your time today Liz, any closing remarks? GO TWINS! |
